As our strategy consultancy continues to grow, we are looking for a Junior Capex Strategy Consultant to join our team in Gothenburg.
Role overview
As a Junior Capex Strategy Consultant, you will contribute to the development of long-term, data-driven strategies for global industrial clients. The role combines analytical work with structured coordination, supporting both the substance and progression of strategy projects.
You will work closely with experienced consultants and client subject-matter experts, and from an early stage participate in international projects, regular travel, and discussions with senior leadership teams. Over time, you will develop deep expertise in our strategy philosophy, analytical tools, and data-driven approach, while gradually taking on more responsibility and ownership in client work as your skills grow.
Professional development is a priority, supported through close collaboration, hands-on coaching, structured feedback, and increasing responsibility in project delivery.
Key responsibilities
· Contribute to multiple parallel strategy projects together with experienced consultants
· Develop scalable cash-flow and economic models using our in-house tools
· Analyze large and complex data sets to identify key value drivers, constraints, and strategic trade-offs
· Prepare structured analyses and decision material for senior client stakeholders
· Support planning, coordination, and follow-up of project activities
· Track progress and ensure alignment across workstreams
· Support development of long-term client relationships
· Contribute to continuous improvement of internal methods and analytical tools
Requirements
· Willingness and ability to travel internationally (Europe, North America, and South America), ~4-10 weeks per year, 1 week at a time
· Fluency in written and spoken English and Swedish
· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
· Master’s degree in Industrial Economics, Economics, Finance, or a related field
Qualifications
You are analytical, structured, and dependable, with strong attention to detail and prioritization skills. You are comfortable working with complex quantitative material while maintaining an overview of parallel tasks. You communicate clearly and professionally and take responsibility for both your own work and the overall quality of project outcomes.
Experience from analytical, project-based, or strategy-oriented environments is an advantage.
